Very jealous as i live in london very close to the centre. Always wanted a view and more like that.......shame you're having to move.

Dippy, that souns divine, just wish I was nearby, I sooo want to move to a wee village again. I am in a town but on the outskirts, but was brought up in a Village and you cant beat it.

Don't know about that but here's the view from about quarter of a mile away at the top of my hill. I'm gonna miss having all this on my doorstep and moving somewhere flat......

Yes, we have Cafe Royston down the road, the pub featured in it is about 3mins walk away and the war memorial featured tons is at the end of our road opposite the station. The butcher selling special meat for special people is on the main street and has won awards across the country for their locally (specially?!) sourced meat and various other landmarks too. Once a year, the pub has a convention where lots of geeks from all over the country arrive to do goodness knows what, dressed as their favourite characters - quite scary the first time it happened, having never see tne programmes at that point
