I was happy to clean my car off but hub is a sweetie and insisted he would do it. He found the ideal tool to do a large clean of things and not damage the paintwork.

It is the plastic pan from the dustpan and brush, he then sweeps the bits off that are left

I remember Tiny - had more dealings with Mrs than Mr but did meet him a few times. Used to see a lot of their rescue chins, I think they said they had about 80 at one time. Sorry to hear Roman hasnt been well they seem such a nice couple, very knowledgeable and willing to share info - they used a practice I used to work at and are friends of the vets there - I am not friends with the vets there thats why I dont know what the reaction will be

So true Vicky. They got themselves in to that state they can get themselves out of it so real emergencies can be delt with.

I live in the Highlands of Scotland, we honestly have about 3 ft of snow and its blowing a blizzard just now. Just heard on the news that we are officially cut off from the rest of the country as all snow gates are shut and its supposd to be -20 this weekend, its been like this for about 3 weeks now, dont think Ive seen it this bad before x

I was figuring it may be something like that but had better be warm he is 92 and has body temp control problems . His temp is low and hits not register very fast.

That'll be the mountain rescue Landrover Caro - I used to work for the ambulance service and they use it in desperate situations with the weather!

Have had a phone call. They now have a land rover ambulance and "think" that they can get my dad to the care home, l have told them that l won't be amused if they screw up getting him there by rushing. I have been assured it will be ok.. why am l not convinced and worried.

Been stuck at home all day, can't get out of my village. Not stopped snowing all day and now the wind has got up and it's positively blizzarding (if that's a word!) Am pleased with my new camera from Santa though...

well they will have such a bladder full that they can piss in the snow to keep warm!

No snow here in South East Kent - again we miss out on it. We've had enough to make a few snowballs but not even enough to make the roads dangerous. Just a dusting on the grass and car ....... send it down here!!!

I want to make a snowman and even before Xmas we've missed it. Forecast is for about 5-8cm tonight and tomorrow whereas other parts of the country are meant to have loads.

We're meant to go to a chinchilla show on Sunday in Northamptonshire, and they're meant to have over 20cm overnight.....so if anyone is in that area or south of it. can you let me know if you have any ......ta

I'm in East Northamptonshire, had snow this morning but virtually all melted. Roads are not too bad. x

We've had 9 inches overnight and its still falling, got the car stuck down the road this morning so abandoned that idea, tried to get a bus to work no busses, phoned in work and only 1 nurse there!!!!

The other 2 have got snowed in and so have I, think he's shutting the surgery early today

just a dusting of snow overnight - but it is lying on the thick ice from the day before. Looking up to the wolds its white out by the look of it and clouds look laden with snow which appears to be heading my way heading my way! please dont let it settle I have an interview at 8.50 am tomorrow and I have to be able to get out

Woke up to 14 cm of soft flufy snow this morning and still coming down heavy, love it

Though not looking forward to the walk in to work or if theres any call outs tonight!

Why is it though, that we all struggle to get in to work and all the clients cancel?! I feel like saying 'well i got here so you can!'

More snow here!

Car was frozen solid this morning. Couldn't get the thick ice off with de-icer or scraper. Took ages to defrost

Hope it's still nice snow on Sat so we can go sledging again

Weatherman says more snow here Weds and Thurs and we're running out of grit (not that it matters as the council never grit anyway )
