SNAP!!! Went to bed at 11.30, fell asleep quickly, woken by fireworks at 12! They woke Jack up too.

Ditto that - last few years been up and down workwise but the end of 2009 saw me change jobs and am now SO happy and really looking forward to work in 2010 - I hope all of you who have had a difficult time workwise find happiness in the New Year and all of you starting on completely new ventures the best of luck.

Back from the hospital, have found the glasses and filled a wine glass with amarula cream. I knew we had glasses someplace but as l never drink wasn't sure where so usually use a mug, hub calls me a peasant.

Have also got some popcorn in the microwave, never done it in there before usually use a pan and oil this is nice as not greasy, but taking ages still l have time.

I've had my curry and have to go and put pj's on now...my trousers are too tight! Hmmm diet flown well out of the window! Think i'll go and watch a dvd or play wii with some cider

Happy new year to all of you. I'm still teetering between "new year, new start" and "new year, same old s**t!" depending on how i feel at any given minute as the house goes on the market next week, I start packing my belongings up to go into storage before moving miles away back to my mum's, leave my lovely job and friends behind etc. Not to mention my lovely (soon to be ex) partner of course.

Anyway, today was officially my last day of wallowing and have just had a long bath, painted my nails, done some meditating and healing on myself blah blah blah and am looking forward to a takeaway and being in bed before midnight with my most excellent new book. Seeing the new year in how it's gonna be from now on... all about ME!

I hope everyones 2010 will be a good one. I've had a lot of changes and stuff going on in 2009, stressful/sad/not very fun times...bring on a new year, a fresh year for things to go well. I hope so anyway, qualification here i come!!!!!!!!!! this time next year i'll be Vicky Couzens RVN...very exciting
