We have a client's who's 3yr old westie has just had a litter of 5 pups, all healthy. They are 12 days old now.
What i was wondering is if anyone knew any info on walking mum now, ie:
how long a walk is

Re: Whelping bitches

[quote user="Vicky C"]

To be honest, if she were my dog, I wouldnt be too worried about walking her at all. For the time being, I am sure she would be content with getting outside to do her business and a little potter about the garden.

For her (or her owners) to carry back infection to the pups is not worth the risk.

If Mum is walking in public areas and could come into contact with infectious disease? I know they might have some latent immunity, but is it worth the risk?
