If you don't mind me asking - where do you work Sarah GG? My boyfriend is currently redesigning my hospital website - and I want more stuff like this on it. It would be good to see how you go about doing it. I want to have seperate pages for puppy parties, weight clinics etc etc etc but he's charging the practice per web page - so I doubt I'll get what *I* want! LOL

we do monthly topics this month it's pet slimming month tried to tie it in with when owners are trying to slim down, Im running an evening class in the middle of the month a pet slimming class getting in a local agility trainer and we have a huge waiting room (once everything is moved out of it!) so we are going to set up a few obsticles and have a pet aerobics class.

this year we are doing:

Jan - pet slimming month

Feb - pet passports

March - small furry month (rabbits, gpigs, hamsters etc.)

April - national pet month

May - Fleas and worms

June - identichipping month

July - hot weather

August - Nurse clinics

Sept - Care of the older pet

Oct - fireworks

Nov - How heart works and heart disease

Dec - christmas

We link all our displays up with our website by taking a photo of it then writing some short info about it and then we also put it into our practice newsletter which we email out to most clients and put it in with our vaccination reminders.

just watch you dont panic the clients into thinking there animal has heart failure and diabetes because they may have a couple of the clinical signs etc!

might be worth while posting the displays you get so other people (including myself) can get them in too!

nobivac do milbemax ready made and bayer do advocae so depends what you use!

intervet are very good for display stuff

ceva are really good too,

if you just phone round the companies most are great and send a ton of stuff
