I went nearly 15 years ago & stayed at the Playa Dorada resort too. It was still a fairly new place to go back then - power cuts, dodgy water, dodgy tummies & we were advised not to stray out of the resort!! Went for an amazing day long horse ride into the mountains - stopping for lunch at a beautiful natural lagoon for a swim & finishing with a gallop on the beach., Was warm, but pick which side of the island you stay on carefully - we stayed Atlantic Ocean side, so there was always a cooler wind & the sea a bit choppy for snorkeling etc. Would go again, but stay on the Caribbean Sea side I think.

Florida is also fab, esp the Golf Coast - white sands and clear seas!

Florida rocks! Went in 2000. Off to disney land paris on Wed for new year. Well excited! hehe

I went a few years ago and loved it.

We went and visited some of the shacks and took sweets.

The people were so friendly. it was boiling (i love the heat)

ahh I loved it! I wanna go back now
