Thanks guys. I survuved yesterday, had quite a nice one actually, went down to my family in the Midlands. We still did pressies when I got home as we'd already bought most of them so that was quite emotional and set us both off again. Finding it really hard as there's more to it which I'm not going to post on here (no-one else involved by the way!) and he's also very emotional so we're both a bit of a mess at the mo. Anyway, there are loads worse off than me as I keep trying to remind myself and at least I have a loving family and my health etc. Life goes on (although it's a bitch right now!)

Dippy I'm sorry to hear that

If its any consolation I met my ex of 6 years on christmas eve and we split up Sept last year. We had an amicable split and still see each other regularly. I saw him today and his 4 year old nice asked me when we where going to fall back in love again... I felt like crying. Thats probably why I hate christmas so much, its a very emotional time... ahh well.

The thing that makes it harder is my current bf is not what I thought he was and things arn't really going that well. To be honest I can't really be arsed bothering with relationships any more, keep your chin up and we are all here if you need to talk

Never thought I would join this thread rather than the merry jolly one but as my other half of 7yrs decided two days ago (after several weeks of being undecided) that we're splitting up in the new year, which means giving up him (who I still love), my lovely home and job and moving 120miles south to live back with my mum for a while, I'm with you guys this year. Happy "miserable" Christmas anyway to you all!
