I have collected a 'creepie crawlie' stash over the last 5 years, mainly consisting of ecto-parasites, I'll NEVER forget one of the grosest things I've had to do...

A couple of years ago a client came in to say that there where 'things' on the cat. She tried to explain what they looked like but I didn't have a clue so I asked her to stick some to a bit of cellotape and bring them in for us to have a look at.

I could tell the second she brought them in that they where lice but none I have ever seen on a cat/ dog before... after a little research we discovered... wait for it... they where HUMAN LICE!!!!!!!

I sold her some Indorex and advised her that she may need to contact the council if this didn't work. She phoned me up about half an hour later to say that she opened the bin bags up to find hundreds of lice bumbling around!!!

A DENTAL PLATE - complete with one tooth

Not sure if it was a canine!

I suggested to the girls on reception that maybe someone had been startled by a large vets bill!

Now if you'd sneezed out your dental plate (not that I've got one but both friends and hibby have and they've ejected it from their mouths....), wouldn't you realise before you t the surgery?

Oh well, perhaps they'd put it in their pocket from an earlier fallout and it had come out when they took out their hankie?

it did cause a lot of amusement and made my day - I was chuckling all the way home...
