I have tried checking for patents and patents pending - which can be incredibly difficult (I know because I already have a couple of patents pending in other areas)

Was just hoping to be lazy this time and find one ready made

You just have to make it slightly different and check out if there is a patent

the thing is it isnt a new idea! - I have seen it before so even if it isnt in production now I would be stealing somebody elses idea. wouldnt be that hard to knock one up tho if push comes to shove.

might give this one a go! just looked it up and can see definite benefit if it does all it says it does.

while I think about it and we are on the subject of cats has anybody seen a cat water fountain anywhere which is not battery or mains operated. I saw a PEC (photo electric cell - sort of solar powered but not quite) driven one at a cat show about 15 years ago but can I hell as like find one now. Or have I got to make my own

I use Pets at Home wood based one and have a vet bed outside to catch the crumbs. My litter trays are all hooded.

OKO Plus/Cats Best or Worlds Best are all similar. you can get them at PAH or online at petplanet and zooplus. I also check google occasionally for deals on bags in the shopping tab.

OKO Plus is what I use and I swear by it, bar that if you want something really cheap try chick crumb. Clumps, not too bad on smell and is flush-able!

I get Yesterdays news (recycled paper pellets) I get it cost price through work, so is about £11 for 13.5kg

Does track a little, but you can get those mats now, to put outside the tray to catch any bits. It has good odour control too.

have you thought of ordering on online and getting it delivered - I think if your order is over 30 pounds they deliver free

last lot I got we bought 5 sacks of litter and 2 bags of food and it worked out a lot easier than me trying to get it home by myself - and wont have to place another order for some time so will have time to save up for the next one!

Good idea Might see what kitty food they sell!! £9 quid for 30 litres is brilliant!! With the 3 of them we got through 5 litres a week at least! So 2 bags of that shall keep me going a good while!! will do it later meant to be studying for my exam tmoz woops!

having two indoor maine coons i have tried a huge variety of litters. my fussy girls wont stand on the pellets, some do stick to their long fur. and others begin to stink so fast that i end up chainging the litter trays every other day with so much waste.

Litter pearls is good. I think one big bag last one cat two months. You just need to remove the poo as the litter absorbs the wee, but lets the water evaporate off. It turns yellow over the time until you change it. It's shaped so they don't track it out onto the carpet either

We sell it in work and loads of the clients love it, lots of the catsits I have done use it too

i htae clumpinng litter! Is it just me or does it stick to the bottom of the tray and it stinks sooo soo bad! I buy wood chip litter from my local pet shop £12.00 for 30 litres :) i prefer wood chip as it doesnt stink and get everywhere like clumpin stuff!
