&lt;p&gt;You will be an amazing help to the owners by just being there and them knowing you did everything you could and you cared and looked after him in his final few hours. Are you close enough to the clients to phone them in a couple of days to see how they are because i am sure they would appreciate that.&lt;/p&gt;
