Yes, thank you Charlotte. I actually phoned them tonight when I got home and they were so thankful for me doing so, bless them. I have a lovely book called 'I cannot lie by your fire' In loving memory of man's best friend written by Robinson Jeffers and I have offered to send this to them and they were so delighted. I have also written a little card tonight on behalf of us all at the practice. I will phone them in a few days, thats a good idea, thank you Charlotte. Unfortunately, yesterday was my day off and I had a BVNA RCO meeting lastnight so I wasn't in contact with work as I was so busy at home, it was only when I came in this morning that I heard the news.

I'm so sorry paula its so sad.

You will be an amazing help to the owners by just being there and them knowing you did everything you could and you cared and looked after him in his final few hours. Are you close enough to the clients to phone them in a couple of days to see how they are because i am sure they would appreciate that.

aw, thanks Vicky, thats really nice of you, I am feeling kind of down tonight thinking about it but I guess you just have to get on with it, imagine what his poor owners are going through

Sorry to hear that Paula, it's horrible to loose a patient you've got attached to like that
