I've taken augmentin (prescribed by NHS!) and was fine! Had an infected finger thanks to a hamster bite...had scrubbed it with hibi but still pus appeared over night...obv didn't wash well enough

dont know about anybody else but synulox (augmentin) gives me the raging rodneys - would rather take anything but augmentin

Eish no one has a worse record than you. And it was probably your fault the chimney was obviously dirty how can you blame B told you he is a saint .

haha you remembered his little emergency we were talking about that today

I have told him he just has this look that just says 'sucker' have promised to cook a meal if he peels the veggies as I cant hold a knife at the moment. Thing is do I trust him with a sharp object? his safety record is worse than mine! and he is def not going near the fire - last time i asked him to put some coal on he nearly set fire to the chimney.

He may be heading my way for xmas dinner - not sure yet

PS his halo tripped him up years ago

I recon he is a saint. I intend to meet him sometime. See if he has a halo. Mind you to be fair he does seem to attract weirdo's and weird situations.

well my hand is really sore tonight. looking slightly red and swollen

do you think i should go to the doctors? im pretty sure the needle hadnt touched the dog so was still sterile and i washed the cut and put a dressing on it straight away

I remember assisting in a fracture repair and being impaled with an i/m pin (base of thumb) when it came out of the side of the bone instead of going up it. Still have the scar.

A couple of weeks later the same vet slipped with an elevator whilst removing a canine from a GSD( i was supporting the head) and got the other thumb - still have the scar.

The vet jabbed me in the arm with a dental elevator today.....flippin hurt!

Didn't realise quite how sharp they were!
(the one's at my first practice must've been really blunt!)

its not too bad now, a bit tender but im still able to text so im happy! hehe

ooh i cant believe how much it bled! i have to admit i did scan myself just incase the chip had gone in, couldnt resist. would of been kindda cool to have my very own id chip number!

edited due to my mixing up of letters!

funny you should mention m'chip needles. I was impressed stabbed myself 2xs today for 2 cats with their **^$%^* chip needles and still not sure how l could do it.

My hubby said the same to me a few years ago when I got my thumb with a microchip needle. Got no sympathy .

I accidentally stabbed myself on the hand quite recently while removing the scalpel from dirty instruments - it was only a quick jag, but it bled like mad and really hurt
