I'm always afraid that I'm annoying people asking to many question. I also found keeping a notebook handy was really useful, i still do it now whenever i change practices. Make a note of any dose rates, all the TPR ranges and any other useful information. But my best tip is never be afraid to ask questions. You honestly can't ask too many and theres no such thing as a stupid question!

Good Luck!

Re: Starting a new practice

Congratulations on your new job! I think there are some others on here that work for Medivet so may be able to help you with regards to the company. When I first started training I found it helpful to keep a little notebook to made notes about practice procedures, different animal TPRs, and other nursey stuff. I still have a little book now that I keep! Ask questions, read up on leaflets, attend CPD to help with your learning. Often the larger companies will arrange CPD within their group so hopefully you may find that the chance for learning opportunities is pretty good there.

Good luck with your job!
