I agree Henry is fascinating, I'm just reading his new book at the moment 'A Mad Dash', I managed to get a limited edition signed copy from the states... heeeeeeeeeeee

I can listen to his spoken word stuff for hours and think he should be made ruler of the world (although he is so modest he would probably disagree), he has a fantastic if not brilliant mind and a unique way of looking at things

i watched the Beyonce/Lady Gaga vid after reading this thread, and it made me feel mildy nauseous.... I had to turn it off....

The nausea could have been a coincedence of course, but now I have that mental link to the song, and will no doubt projectile vomit if forced to listen to it all the way through....

lol i have to say after watching it now, it's a total piss take and I think it's funny. I don't think it was meant for musical entertainment. though it's very catching and well mastered. GaGa is known for her sarcastic, button pushing and avant-guard behaviour/style. She's been producing records and writing songs for many years and it's just in the last two years she's gotten her own records and singing out there. She writes a hell of a hook and great lyrics, definitely one to watch. But I always take her with a grain...

are you kidding me??? Beyonce is a fun hometown girl and has always seemed to be very light hearted. With all that's coming out at the moment in the US and her partner supporting her 110% with everything she does, it's not surprising she's written another comical poke at society and their silly antics. This isn't the first song she's done poking fun! She's goofy as hell! Always has been from what i've seen and heard. She's a serious artist as in she's worked her ass off to get where she is, but she's always been up for a giggle! I mean come on she's did a rendition of Carmen called 'Carmen -A Hip Hopera'... and played Foxy Cleopatra! My body too boootylicious for you babe! LOL!
