Thanks guys - it's only a cold I have at the mo though, just snotty and sinusy.

The vaccine was called Pandemix (rather than Tamiflu which I think is the tablets you get from the chemist if you already have symptoms?) I even got a little certificate to say I'd had it.

The practice nurse said it was fine to have it with a cold but not if you have a temperature or aching muscles (presumably if there's a chance you may have swine flu brewing).

I usually get a couple of days of snot and aches from the regular flu jab which I have every year but nothing more but apologies to whoever I'm sitting next to at feline behaviour cpd on Friday if I sound gross

My mum is a human nurse and they had a report round the other day to say there is a Tamiflu resistant strain of Swine Flu doing the rounds

Should they have vaccinated you if you are not feeling 100%?

Just interested as I have diabetes so I to could have the vaccince but the one time I did have the flu shot I got flu very badly and ended up at A&E new years day having 2 litres of saline run into me so I have not had a flu shot since.
