yeah there toric lenses!! And well as am new to lenses I spent a good half hour trying to get it out then realising it was not there! My eye was sore and i cut it!!

I wear rigid lenses when I can be bothered. supposedly more healthy for your corneas as they allow more oxygen. Need replacing once a year if you take care of them

Are they a toric lense? that's what I have as I have a lazy eye ;-( good thing is tho it doesn't show when I wear glasses or contacts. I LOVE wearing my contacts - I've lost lenses but usually if I've fallen asleep with them in

I got it done in Glasgow and it was £3990!!! But that's because I was REALLY blind, my Dad got it done and it cost him about £1200 but I figured I was spending £30 a month on lenses so it would work out cheaper across my lifetime! Plus it means I can see when I get up!!! (not always a good thing!)

The bit of contact lens that ripped in my eye was scary, took ages to get it out!!!

See I have always liked glasses but being without them has made me relaise how much better life is LOL

Contacts are so much more fun and I look and feel better with them! Yeh I learnt this in the 2days I had them LOL

I wear glasses, but I am forever losing them, sitting on them etc. So when I am next due to have my eyes tested, I may opt for contacts!

I used to wear monthlys buy my eyes got inflamed so now wear dailies (£25 for 30 pairs) and I couldn't be without them!

I've probably worn contacts for about 5-6 years. I too thought laser treatment, but scared me too much as well! My opticians isn't too keen on it. But then i don 't suppose they would be, cos they'd loose my custom! But contacts work well for me, so think i'll avoid the risk to a laser buggering up my sight!

Me neither! Although do still keep mine handy in the car in case I have a contact crisis! Have thought about laser correction, scares me a little at the moment! Only had my contacts a couple of years so happy to carry on with them!

I LOVE my contacts!! I have soft lenses which are monthly disposable too. Have sometimes rubbed them out too, and lost them on the carpet! I get a 3 month supply at a time so if I lose/damage one I can just use ones I have for the next month, then get replacements from the opticians. Much better than specs, love them!

well thats what they said haha! They are rubbery but quite soft! I love them though and thye felt fine in and stuff! Can't wait untill the 7th when I can order a new pair!!

Just gutted I lost one on the second day of wearing them! So gutted!! But don't think I want to go back to awearing glasses haha!! £6[0 extra quid will be worh it!

What a pain in the bum. Glad you like them though, they make life SO much easier than when wearing glasses! Are yours flexible rubbery ones? Mine are, but they're 2 week ones so don't know how they compare?

now you have said that think I know where I lsot it! Phoned them this morn... 60 quid to replace them Going to have to wait two weeks now cos am skint booo!! I really really liked them!! So am blond till my glasses come on Thursday! Sucks!!

Mine have fallen out before, generally if i've rubbed my eyes. Have always noticed though, my world goes from clean to blurry!
