Not far from us then, plus there is Liverpool uni not too far away. We have visiting MRI weekly plus CT once if not twice a month.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Textbook-Veterinary-Medical-Nursing/dp/0750651717

as well as the BSAVA Manual of Advanced Veterinary Nursing which has now been updated:

http://www.bsava.com/Publications/PublicationsNews/Nursingatanadvancedlevel/tabid/379/Default.aspx

Re: suggestions for diploma study books

I'm doing the old style diploma, but books I found useful are as follows:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0905214927/ref=s9_wishx_gw_ir02?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=15TYYPGKA9V978XRK41D&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467198433&pf_rd_i=468294

Anaesthesia:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Anaesthesia-Analgesia-British-Veterinary-Association/dp/0905214986/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1258532745&sr=8-1-spell

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Anaesthesia-Veterinary-Nurses-Liz-Welsh/dp/1405186739/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1258532774&sr=1-1

Radiography:

The BSAVA manual is good, altou not available any more, so check with the vets at work, one of them might have a copy.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Radiography-Veterinary-Technology-Lisa-Lavin/dp/1416031898/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1258533034&sr=8-2

Surgery:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Textbook-Veterinary-Surgical-Nursing-Carole/dp/0750688130/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2D2I4POHNXCY1&colid=K42RYBE5W2RE

Didn't do the medicine module, so one of the others on here might be able to point you in the right direction! You got a new job yet????

Re: suggestions for diploma study books

Hi Laura,
