This show made me SOOOOOO mad

That man should never have been allows to pay that dog off in installments - irresponsible breeder (im not surprised, as she was only after a quick buck!!) And the conditions he was kept in....Hello RSPCA?

I watched this on iplayer on friday as my little sister had seen it on the Thurs night, the man paying on installments had no idea..... in away i feel sorry for him not even big able to pay £25 a week let alone pay for vaccinations. But surely this was enough to make him realise he cannot afford the pup.

Hopefully people will see this and be detered from breeding.

I thought that was really odd- just giving her child to her mum?!!!

A very frustrating program but I do hope it may have helped put some people off breeding their bitch for a quick buck as it clearly was nothing but trouble for the owner. We can only hope...

I've just watched this on the iplayer! Made me feel sick. People like that should be neutered themselves.

I felt myself wanting to scream at the laptop when the woman's mum said that she couldn't walk her old dog very far because she had been spayed! Grr how stupid can some people be.

The fact that she ended up giving her kid to her mum surely must say some thing about her a a person!

I think that you used to have to have a licence if you had 2 or more bitches in a property that were used for breeding. Maybe it should be changed so that anyone who has one bitch that they breed from should be licenced. That could then be enforced by the local council as most of those people were probably in council housing.

Ahh this programme made me so mad!

The breeder & new owners were all completely irresponsible, I don't agree with breeding in generall but this took the p***...and there are sooo many Staffies/Staffie crosses in rehoming centres already without breeding more that are probably going to end up like that :(

Yea i caught the last half hour - he was twat- he really made me annoyed and gee his partner was not impressed at all!Was 'nice' to see the woman take the pup off him though in the end rather than it going elsewhere- she at least took some responsibility.

One of the things that annoyed me was the attitude of the guy with the pup in the pram..."i can't let him mix wiv other dogs cos he'll get infections and that...but the jabs are about £30 or summink, and that's a lot of money when you're on benefits, we struggle to pay for the kids"...WELL DON'T BLOODY WELL GET A PUPPY THEN YOU IDIOT!!! And stop breeding yourself!!! And the whole, i'm too good for the jobs around, tough shit mate, you need to earn your money!!! There are genuine people around trying to get work..then there are people like him

Not too sure about not breeding again. She did make a comment about not breeding again at Christmas, as too many pups around!

Still the other male staff is at her mums now, along with her son!

I know what you mean eghambc. I'd never heard of a Courser either. I also noticed the yard full of poo. Must be the VN in us!

I was really pleased that she didn't get the money she wanted for them. Like you say, £300 "pahnd" doesn't go far. Hopefully that's at least one less "breeder" on the streets so to speak.

we all know that there are some breeders out there that just want to make money - hopefully it made some people realise it often isnt the case! That breeder only really made money from one pup. £300 doesnt go far when you keep puppies as long as she had them.

As to "pitbulls " dog , a Courser - never heard of this breed. Lots a bit like a mastiff cross. Even she does not let it in the house, judging but the poo every where in the yard.

I feel very sorry for any pups that are born in that area.!
