My nice vet did an FNA, and the fluid came out all fatty and greasy, so we are thinking lipoma.

PHEW!

If it gets any bigger we will whip it out, and in the meantime get some weight off the ickle fatty!

I found bilat nobbly sub mandibs on my 8y bull mastiff earlier this year. vet check...........moniter. Iv done nothing and they are still there, she is fine. fingers crossed it is nothing x

Oh bugger it must be lump week...tonight found a lump on Poppys backside. It's quite big I thought it was an abscess, the top is a bit soft like it could be lanced. And am pretty sure it wasn't there yesterday. She's been having lots of skin problems, have tried various treatments to no avail so went to see a different vet at another practice yesterday and she's given her convenia and shampoo. The vet didn't spot the lump, and neither did i when i bathed her so it must have appeared over night! I've spoken to the vet at work, and popped into work to get some Metacam and some stuff to lance it a bit until we can do it properly on monday. But when i tried to lance it just blood came out But surely it must be an abscess, with it coming up that fast? Am just hoping that the pus is too thick to lance, so will need surgical removal, rather than it being anything nasty Poor Poppy , it's one thing after another with her atm.

Ah, and Jack is on antib's atm for an infection in his foot, went lame last weekend! Animals, argh they're sent to try us!

I know how you feel I found a lump on my doglet recently and I couldn't think rationally.

i found a lump on Jacks backside a while ago...was just me being paranoid, vet said histiocytoma and now it's vanished, so hopefully it's nothing serious on your doglet x
