i like the look of either and would just love it if my boss would let me go on either. woeked out could make the money back in dentals very fast and then would be making him a nice profit. lets hope he sees it like that.

from the information i have printed off it seems that the dental vets is a cpd course rather than the certificate like the bvna course.

i have given the information to my head nurse to look at and hopefully we can decide which one would be more beneficial. I am hoping my cpd allowance will cover it although as you said it is expensive, but we do say quite alot of dentals in my practice so would be worth it

i might have to wait till next yr as boss said they more then my cpd allowance. but still not sure which would be the best.

Hi there, i have also been looking into dental courses, have printed off the information from both the bvna website and dental vets website, really undecided as to which course to book.

Are you any closer to making a decision?

i do love my dentals and just want to learn more. there is a big diff in price in the 2 courses and i dont know which to look at doing.

glad to see other nurses in the world like dentals, i did think i was laone in this one x

Have been to lots of Normans lectures and went on a dental course at his practice, it was Fiona and Clare the V.N that did the course- I think Norman was elsewhere that day.

Was a good day- learnt lots!

The first vet that got me interested in dentistry was Cecilia Gorrell- I think shes fab!

Hi Mrs M.......Norman Johnson is my hero! He sorted my calici-virus positive cat.... she has had a perfect mouth now, for 3 years... He use to fly down every week from Scotland to a practice near Heathrow for referrals!! I think he has only just stopped doing this!

Have you been on one of his courses... I would love to but it's just abit of a long way to go..... don't fancy flying!

Norman & Fiona Johnstone in North Berwick do excellent dental courses too.

no idea on which would be best Spud, but Pfizer do a free online dental leadership course, maybe that could get you started?
