&lt;p&gt;the first 2 papers were hard, really shocked by some of the questions (so were the others who i spoke to) and the last 2 papers seemed easy enough.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;multiply by 15 and divide by 100 (ie move the decimal place two)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;or an easier way for the 15% is take 10% of the value, then half of that amount again&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;ie.&amp;nbsp; bill is &amp;pound;12.60 before VAT&lt;br /&gt;move decimal point &amp;pound;1.26&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; = 10%&lt;br /&gt;halve it &amp;pound;0.63&amp;nbsp; = 5%&lt;br /&gt;total is &amp;pound;12.60 + 1.26 + 0.63&amp;nbsp; = &amp;pound;14.49&lt;/p&gt;
