i was exactly the same when i was doing my training - it became a bit of a nemesis to me - but thankfully i had an assessor who harassed and haranged me into doing it and getting my cases in otherwise i would never have got round to finishing it!

Keep at it Vicky, and try to stay positive it's all worth it in the end. There is almost no point at all trying to concentrate on writing up cases when you are tired.

Does your employer give you time at work to do your portfolio? Or can you set aside some time on the weekend?

My students have the same problem especially as one of them works another job in the evenings as well as her svn job!

I'm writting a case log now...but finding it SOOOOOOOOO hard to focus argh!!! Was planning on doing some last night, but got home from college at 7, had tea, sat on my bed with my work to write a draft to type today...and fell asleep! I thought about typing it straight up last night...but then i would have got distracted sat at the comp. Or fallen asleep sat at comp, have done that before! Was going to do some mon and weds nights, but didn't finish work till 7 so by the time i got home, had tea, sorted animals i just fell asleep!

Sorry i am whinging. I know i'm really lucky to be training when there are so many people wanting to do it. So i should just shut up and be greatful.
