I&amp;#39;m much better the more I&amp;#39;m with animals and now have a Persian (weirdly always found them fine when short haired cats at work bring me up in bumps).&lt;/p&gt;

Stress also increases this, which may be why the bengal is more of a problem for Sam because they tend to get stressed easily and will molt off some of their pelt which is very dense. &lt;p&gt;Some people find black long haired cats more allergenic than others i find. I even get a little itchy with them round my eyes. Might be worth looking at a different type of cat, steer clear of fluffy cats though.
