Love that, I am really keen on my behaviour. Already have some socialisation/habitulisation charts which I was going to take along but I might work on some other bits too.

Ooooh good idea!

I admit to thinking the 'shock factor' does wonders for clients understanding of what can happen to their pets if basic preventative treatment (vaccs, worms, fleas, neutering and chipping) of their pets is not given - I would be all for gory pics/stories etc (as I said earlier re a juicy pyo)

if the main theme is imporoving dog welfare, i would be thinking things like pics of juicy pyo's, stories of pets reunited via microchips, the importance of flea and worm control (incl the risk to humans), average cost of common disorders (insurance), large breed dogs with inadequate nutrition etc etc

I think the role of VNs in the public eye is very important too, and many of these things could be highlighted by how the nurses can help owners to avoid them.

I am trying to get some free poo bags to give out from the reps, thought a nice display on how gross worms are and what they can do to them and their kids might help with that!

Feeding I am not sure how to approach, we have some dental packs and I was considering dental checks. Grooming is a great plan, things like cleaning ears and bits would be great to include!

Also hoping this will teach people how much vet nurses do!

How about responsible pet ownership, cleaning up after you dog etc?

basic pet care - grooming, feeding, importance of healthy teeth etc.
