he was a real terror to get an iv catheter in yesterday, and that was with him feeling poorly!! I am off work tomorrow so if he gets to go home, one of my colleagues will have the pleasure of taking him off his fluids!! Oh dear!

I learned a great tip today with situations like these - the vet I was with today is also married to a vet, she was telling her husband about what the cat done to me and he said if we had to take him off fluids today, we could give him a small dose of propofol just to get catheter etc out. I have never tried this before, but it seems a fantastic idea!!

yes, looking at it now, both bite marks definitely have localised swelling and are quite bruised. Will see how I feel in the morning.

My B&W cat is also a sod at the vets - he's soft as muck at home though

Might be worth asking your doc for some abs if you got bitten twice!

Must be a black and white moggy thing! My Niamh purrs as she scratches the nurses at the vets!! Shes a little terror!!!

Funnily enough Lovecat, the dominant cat in our home is Maisie - a black & white moggie!!

Hehehe - I'm not laughing at what happened to you - I've been bitten quite badly before and it's not funny, but I have a black and white moggy and he is a MONSTER when he comes into work with me!

I did Steph and the soap made my whole arms sting like mad, I thought I was on fire!! And that was alongside the phone and doorbell ringing at the same time!!

Said cat was banished back to his kennel after that!
