it happens all the time at the pdsa...

people would pull up in their audi or 4x4 etc etc with their akitas or rotties

staff are used to it! i'm not saying its right - cause its not - but it happens ALL the time!

[/quote]

Used to love that that when I worked at a RSPCA hospital, you'd get the old dears with their beloved little old dogs or cats and they would empty out they're purses in front of you to pay the bill , yet then you'd get those who pulled up up in the big new cars, designer clothes, chunky gold, yet couldn't pay a penny!!

Liked to announce loudly, in the middle of the waiting room not only their bill (the pharmacy door looked out to the waiting room), and the fact they couldn't pay, but also that their animal had fleas/ worms. This seemed to bother them more??

we have a couple of bbulldog breeders at work and both recently have bred, the 1st one had 7 pups and we nearly lost the bitch and over a few weeks lost another 3 pups.

the 2nd had 10 pups which when was ceasared they came out all deformed, see through and jellyfied! needless to say both owners are blaming us..............nothing to do with the breed at all! Hence why they are so expensive coz they are diff to breed

Just for the record I do like bulldogs though!

Re: PDSA

I would definitely inform the PDSA - that is really taking the p***

Yes, sometimes clients do/can get away with fraud, it is very irresponsible of the owner who quite simply has no regard whatsoever for an animal charity.

However, long runs the fox........ We have caught out fraudsters before in our clinic and will continue to do so. They dont get by us that easily

Re: PDSA

Yeah, I think I will.
