I have a SAD lamp at home which I use (although probably son't strat it early enough in the season as I never have enough time and tend to wait until I feel low before I remember!) I eat healthily, take extra vitamins and start planning for my next holiday (as early in the year as I can afford to go, usually about April/May) in the sunshine as soon as winter hits as the planning also cheers me up. I will be interested to see whether having a dog again now makes a difference with the extra exercise and daylight (well the dalight bit mainly applies at weekends of course in winter) as I was without last winter and he didn't walk far the one before that either. I'm usually ok until about mid January as I try to throw myself into little projects and I look forward to Christmas but by January, I'm always rund down, exhausted and usually have a cold/chest infection. Last January was when I started all my Cyprus fundraising and that definitely helped as although I was still run down and tired, I really enjoyed doing it and it kept me busy. At the moment I'm in the middle of organising a small event for 1st december and also a Christmas raffle for them so don't know what I'll do in the New Year yet.

Re: S.A.D

Just interested as to how it affects people and what they do to ease it.
