I have also applied to do the DipAVN at Myerscough. My essay was on the importance of self-regulation and automony of veterinary nursing in the UK.

I found it easier than I thought I was going to. I found writing my personal statement much harder

I sent all the paper work off mid-December and had an interview date before the the end of the year. My interview date is 5/2/10. Hope it goes ok......

Yip, im quite confused also. The last thing i want to do is waffle on about something they dont even want!!! or realise i'v competely missed the point of the essay. It sounds as if there is a few different subjects for the essay so maybe its not so bad as it could have been! I'm not sure when they have to be in by, but i'm waiting to hear if work are gonna pay for it first anyway. Although on the letter in the application pack it said they held interviews all year round. Will have another look and let you know if i find a date.

Your title sounds completely different to mine!! I get the impression from my ~Intro that it is a report on how changed etc, I'm soooo confused though!! I just want to have some light shed on it, just so i know what the hell im meant to be writing about!! Do you know when the application hasto be in by?

I'v just received an application pack too and was a bit confused as to whet they wanted for the essay. Are you meant to write an unbiased report or give your opinion on self regulation?, or write up the good things self regulation is meant to bring to the industry??? HELP PLEASE!!
