&lt;p&gt;Just wondered if&amp;nbsp;you had seen the articals in the VN times - there is to be a full time VN course introduced as so many nurses are finding it imposible to find a training position within a practice.&amp;nbsp; I obviously have no idea how this would work for you financially as there will undoubtably be course fees and you wont be training in a paid job but maybe it&amp;#39;s worth looking into?&amp;nbsp; In the artical is says &amp;#39;for more info call Donna Clark on 01480 226180&amp;#39;&amp;nbsp; It does not make it very clear where the course is being run but it&amp;#39;s always worth a look eh?&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I did a mailshot to all the vets in my area (about 20 places!) and waited for replies.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I had to put my personal plans on hold while I trained but it was worth it in the end. It&amp;#39;s only 2 years (I know it sounds like a long time but it really does fly past) and then you can start sorting out family life. Maybe talk to your other half and come to a decision?
