Aww bless your kitty, it's scary when you realise how old they are, my pigs are 4 getting on for 5! Jack is doing fine thanks The pigs are fine too, apart from Poppy having a baldness issue atm which we can't seem to cure!

Hmm well suppose i should do portfolio now...

I feel your pain! Our blood machine is constantly breaking down or behaving badly. Hope it sorts itself out! Just got called out to a dog that was DOA, heart failure Poor people were really shocked.

My little kitty is doing well thanks! He's the same as ever, grumpy sometimes but extremely loving the next. He's seven now, entering his geriatric years......scary!

How's Jack? and the pigs?

Hmm it sure is different...which isn't always a good thing...

Yep if no inpatients we go home. Glad i don't have to stay 1:3, would kill me! Ah well, i'm just getting on with it and accepting change happens. Like it or lump it huh? Not much longer till i'm qualified Yeah Em is, it's nice to have her here. It's nice to have her company here when i'm working a night

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I've got portfolio to do but currently getting peed off with the blood machine!

Wow must be strange going back to your first practice as a locum! Are there many old faces there who recognise you? Yeah it was a tough year last year but I'm getting back to my old self again, and changing things I don't like in my life instead of being miserable about them!

Sounds very different So if you have no inpatients you can go home? 1:3 is a bit much tho. Hard to make plans! I'm glad Em's doing well, she's a nice girl and a good vet.

I'm on duty tonight, but so far so good!

Glad it's going well I don't think i'd be very good with horses, know nothing about them!

Brook House is...well...different!!! I say no more Yeah she's settled in well, really like her. She's even calling me my work name now, Dick I'm liking not having OOH calls...but being available 1 in 3 nights isn't great! At least we only stay in when we've got inpatients though. I'm in tonight, on call tomorrow as well so praying there are no inpatients! At least the phone won't wake me up at 3am.

Aw, sorry to hear that Katie, but it's great you are feeling better now, and glad you are liking your new job.

I am still locuming, but I dont travel as far now. I am actually locuming for the pracice I trained in at the moment....... ,lots of pregnant nurse there at the mo.

It was pd indeed! I left there after 7 years in March to go to private practice, a large hospital with an equine unit. I'm loving the new job but do miss pd a bit. The long story but really short is that I had a few horrible things happen at once, I had a bit of a depressive episode where I was signed off work and couldn't see a way out. Things have looked up since tho. And how about you? Whats new? xxxxx

Its going really well ta, can be very busy, but quite rewarding. Am enjoying having horse inpatients even if I'm quite scared of them! How's brook house? Emily settled in ok? xxx
