I hope things work out for you It's so hard when a relationship ends, it just throws your life into the air! I had a similar thing happen - my ex was cheating on me with his ex gf and I got so fed up of it, I confronted him about being with her IN FRONT OF ME and he dumped me. I felt angry more than anything! After all he'd done how dare he dump me?

But it was a blessing in disguise for me, and I hope it is for you too. I hope that it gives you the freedom you need to move on and be happy.

thanks paula!! I know! Am thinking a month apart will be good to decide what to do if that makes sense? Not sure what will happen sick of the hot and cold treatment already! I know i did wrong and "two wrongs don't make a right" but after what Iforgave you think he wouldn't be so hyprocritical (sp?). thanks tho paula! Hope you and the boys are ok!!

Not sure about a trial Lou, what if you are heading for another fall?

The only reason I'm saying this is because the same thing happened to me, as you know. We have been apart again coming on three weeks now, this time round, I have shed very little tears for him, I am glad he is not here anymore and its just me and my sons.

Any tears I have shed was only me feeling sorry for myself and wondering what the future holds for me and my children.

Of course, I wish I never had to see or speak with him again, but thats not likely to happen until my children are old enough to make their own decisions.

I guess with the mess he has left behind plays a big part in why I never want to see him again.

Anyway, you can only do what you think is best, you know we will always be here for you - no matter what xxx

ahits sinking in slowly but hes just messing with my head now! He wants to make it a trial for a month and take things slowly I get what he means but I just think whats the point. But I agreed and am going to stand on my own two feet for a while and sort of breathe and maybe see how it feels being independent again! Sort my head out!

I want to be sad but I can't shed any tears! Maybe its relief? No idea but i will get there! He may have just opened the door for me though and may live to regret his decision! I shall get there!!

thanks guys! you really do know how to make me feel better!

I know you are right Paula, just hard at the moment to accpet it and try to move on!

We agreed to kepe the flat till June although am not sure if that will work. Hes taking sofa bed and am getting bedroom. We have agreed not to get back together and plan on avooiding each other for a while! Not sure his plan will work!!

Going to be hard to live with him but am determined! Will save my pennies for moving in june to a great wee place for my kitties!

i'm sorry to hear that

you did the right thing though - by telling him - shame on him that he doesn't realise that!

don't worry about the kitties - i am sure work will board them, or a colleague will step in

as others have said - much easier to get a cat friendly landlord - especially when you let slip you are a veterinary nurse with a keen intrest in flea prevention

Have a word with your boss or colleagues if they can look after the kitties whilst you find somewhere else, I agree with Caro its easier to find landlords to allow cats than dogs.

It won't be as bad as that if need be ask your boss if your can huddle the cats at work while you sort yourself out. Look for a new place even if it is share cats are generally easier to rehouse than dogs with landlords.
