Just feel like I hit a really good patch at work and today confidence has been shot down. I let myself down with a silly oversight and now my boss

Re: Feeling down :(

poor you! yes we all certainly do have bad days - they really suck but i think we just need to dust ourselves off and think tmws another day! im sure your boss will still give you a great reference - we are all human and make the odd mistake!

but while on the subject of bad vein today - yikes, i seem to be having a bad catheter monthS!! its exceedingly annoying, because prior to starting this job i would have said i was very competent and i was relatively good without sounding up myself! but lately i seem to be going too deep in cats, and not being able to thread the catheter off in dogs!! i think about all the bad ones and forget about the good ones, so then next time round im jinxing myself. think i need to heed my own advice!

Re: Feeling down :(

Just remember your boss will have bad days too - although they will never admit it!!!

Re: Feeling down :(

Hi, I think the majority of us all have days like that, tomorrow is another day, and I am sure you are feeling better about it all now but it's total pants at the time and the downer you get seems like it will never lift, but it will

I'm sorry to hear you're having a bad day hun. I get days like this every now and then. I especially don't like the "treacle walking days". You know the ones where even though you're racing around like the proverbial blue bottomed fly, nothing ever seems to be finished. It really does feel like you're walking through treacle all day.

Bad vein days make me feel stupid and bad anaesthesia days are just plain scary!

Like Les said, tomorrow's another day. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and try to shake it off. I find a small glass of something helps

Hope tomorrow's better for you hun xx

Thats a fab explaination, treacle day.

Know the feeling with the bad vein day/ bad anaesthetic day. Think we all have them to highlight the good days.

Hopefully yours will be better tomorrow
