I have to be careful of child born illness as I don't spend much time with the little things when any of the vets at work (how have kids) has a snuffle or a slight cold it really hits me hard have no immunity to kiddie illnesses

*touch wood* i've managed to fend away the bugs, felt like a i was getting something a few weeks ago but i fought it off, woohoo go you immune system! It has been going around work though

A few tummy bugs, plus hubby not feeling all that great. And a school in linlithgow........ 300 pupils off wi suspected swine flu!!!

the wife of one of our vets is a human nurse, and they have been told that this swine flu is going to be major and to be prepared to have holidays knocked back and also to tell their husbands or partners that they will have to take time off work to child mind, as all nurses will be needed full time when it hits scary or what!

ive just started with a cold that our receptionist had last week

had a client stand at reception on monday sniffing and coughing all over us, then she left her snotty tissue on the desk..............euw!!!!!

Yep up north too!!!

Althou two of the girls were feeding ducks at Alton Towers so possible caught something off them or maybe couldn't handle the rides lol

Yep, it's started down here too. My Mother in Law turned up at work out of the blue last wekk with a raging cold. (OH and I live above work) He got the almost terminal man cold from her and now I'm snivelling, coughing and spluttering my way through the day. I'm thinking the spare room tonight too!

One vet has had a raging sinus problem and the other is mumbling about brewing a cold. Our poor locum is trying to find her way around a new practice with a raging cold.
