Well i'm actually starting to feel a bit more normal today! Not had a headache and not feeling as "weird"!

Fingers crossed i'll be feeling better soon, and less moody - lol!

I been on mine for a few years. Felt wierd for a while when I first started. You will get used to them and will feel soooo much better :) For me, they really work well. :)

Have been on various antid's in my time and some of them gave me a cotton wool head and felt like an age before I actually 'woke up' even though Id been up and awake for ages.

I seem to feel worst in the morning and at night with these tablets. Such an odd feeling.

Sometimes it takes a while for things to kick in, I hope your G.P is supportive as that can help no end too.

I agree with what Louise has said

I have been on medication for more years now, than I care to remember. I had horrible side effects for the first week or so, then things started to calm down.

Stick with the medication Katy, the side effects you are having will pass.

Hi Katy, sorry to hear that you are still depressed. Its good though that you are loving your new job as at least there are things in your life that bring you pleasure. Lots of depressed people lose the ability to enjoy anything in their life so its a good sign that you haven't. I hope that the SSRIs kick in for you soon - in the meantime, just remember, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it will lift sooner or later. I have suffered terribly with depression over the last couple of years but it does go eventually. If you need to chat or sound off we are all here for you x
