I have a book on WW2 and on the front cover is a pic of a line up of jewish people being herded into trucks, and there is a little girl being dragged away by a nazi soldier from her mother, she looks about 2 yrs old, it haunts me that picture it really does.

Schindlers list is the same, the girl in the red coat throughout makes it all so very real.

I never knew that Nick, I so want to go there. I am going on boogie on the boat next year, and intend to visit Anne Franks house while there.

I watched this with Hannah as she was doing WW2 at school - bad idea!!! Both of us in tears, sobbing our little hearts out, kept her up for ages, she couldn't believe that stuff like that actually happened!

I saw this film recently when my mum bought it, both of us knew it was about the Jewish concentration camps but had no idea what the exact story was. Oh my god it was upsetting, we got to the end and were both just speachless, very moving story and very well done, i thought the two little boys acting in it were great!!

I think that the book is a lot better than the film, this is yet another film that they change the ending when it was the end of the book that was so hard hitting.

I'm always intregued by films and books on this subject i went to a concentration camp when i was 13 and since then i have watched every documentry and read every book on this subject i think its the fact that its such a horror but it happened and the fact that to compramend this is really difficult.

I've seen Schindlers List too, good isn't the right word but it was a good film. Not heard of Boy in the Stripped PJ's, i'll look out for the book first too. I've read and seen Anne Frank and read a book by Anne Franks sister.

I should look out for it then.... films on these subjects always upset me but I really feel that we should never forget what happened there, and in similar siuations worldwide
