God that was horrendous only got £9.95 off delivery. Had it just been me in the shop the manager would have been pinned in a corner till l got a decent amount off, or l would have gone elswhere until l was happy with the offer, but my mum is such a mess with panic etc that l was the one that had to accept a measly £9.95 off delivery.

I need a and a sticky something to try and perk me up after that mauling to my negotiating skills.

If you come down this way Fi l will take you to Bents it is mind blowing. At xmas their displays are amazing. They actaully get full up with coaches who make day trips from around the country, all year but especially at christmas. And like l say their food.

Yup l agree with washing machines but that is one l can not avoid. And cleaning will only happen when l have finished my book.

Garden centre sounds good......washing machines????? well maybe they could be exciting????? House cleaning can wait for another day!!

My mum just rang to remind me l said we would go and look at washing machines this morning. I forgot l had agreed to this exciting opertunity. So now l am snuggled on the sofa under the duvet and hugging a hot water bottle while l read a book till we go.

I may go to Bents Garden Center when l get back just found a £5 voucher in my draw. I know 5 wont go far but l have just found £5 in my purse so being flush with cash l may go and peruse it. Their food is AMAZING you do pay for it but OMG heaven. Giving thought to house cleaning... giving it a lot of thought but the book is so good.

But thanks for the ideas. I have a few days off next week may look into them. Never think about internet for local stuff.

Get on the internet and see what free things there are to do in your area. Visit a museum you've never been to or maybe there's a historic building somewhere nearby. You often see there are things in your area that you've never actually been to before, even though they are right on your doorstep!
