The charity in Cyprus did all the paperwork over there for me but Henri flew into Manchester Airport and was received by Pets on Jets (the airport's own company rather than one of the private ones) and I have to say that they were absolutely fantastic with him. Place was easy to find, we arrived early (bit over keen!) so he sent us off to get a coffee whilst waiting and the paperwork at this end was a doddle. They offered beforehand that if I faxed a photocopy of his passport to them, they would check it all in advance if I was at all worried about things being done properly at the other end (which I wasn't as I know the charity well) and also advised me how to change his microchip to my details etc (which I obviously already knew but good all the same). He was also really good with henri himself. If you're anywhere near the North West, I'd highly recommend them!

It might be worth contacting some local breeders in your area and see if any of them have done international trading. If not you might be able to contact the kennel club and speak to them about who they would or wouldn't recommend. but they may not be able to offer any advice. I personally do not use a courier or service to ship with my breeding service personal delivery is more reliable for obvious reason. I can have a fish round for you with the other pedigree cat breeders though and see if they can recommend any for you. watch this space.
