If it is closed via the femoral he should be out the day after the op. If it is open probably a week roughtly possibly a bit less. And if closed will be stupid from time he wakes up.

Stupid = he whats the gamne we were playing?? and bound back into it.

Re: If I am to visit Scotland...........

Yes Louise, if he gets through the surgery, the post operative care in hospital will be a while. I guess I was just more worried about meeting him before the op, but I should hold fire and wait to see how the op goes, and just pray that he gets through it as I am sure his post op care will be for quite some time until he is able to be rehomed, so my guess is that there is no immediate rush

I am locumming the next 3 weekends. I could pick you up though on the sunday (after 5pm) from Edinburgh airport if that's any good and could run you down on the monday. I wouldn't rush though - isn't he likely to be in hospital for a few days? Or, actually, maybe you could visit while he is in hospital???? GUVS is not that far from the airport!

Re: If I am to visit Scotland...........

well, it doesnt have to be THAT weekend, I could always arrange it for another

Re: If I am to visit Scotland...........

Bum bum bum bum - I won't be around.
