Lou many of us aren't from Scotland what we need is something specific/phone number/address/name of the eaterie so if we visit the area we know where to find the restaurant. The idea of this thread is if we happen to be in a town or area we can find a reccommended place to eat or drink Now you say Glasgow great as l did not know what town you meant!!

And now ignore all the above cause l just finally saw Glasgow and west end... eishh

Greens in Didsbury (south manchester) is meant to be nice (run by TV chef Simon Rimmer

and Simple in mancgester city centre is nice too

It's called "The LemonTree". From the outside you would think that its just another chinese but you would be sooo wrong!! It's very cheap, no more than 7 quid for a main! they do a speacial 3 courses for £8.50 and the portions are HUGE!! The food for being a chinese is awesome for veggies and make dishes with Tofu and vegtables! ahh am wantign some at the thought of it ... mmm!!

Mmmmmm Loopy is that anywhere near Dumfries and Galloway Rescue Shelter where Roy is? You see, that would be a lovely place to go for a bite to eat when I go to visit Roy

People from here and other countrys visit your area Paula this is open for worldwide eateries. After all we all travel and if anyone does visit you would be nice to know some good eateries so go for it
