anywhere I can cheaply rent a place, or stay with friends.

I keep travelling through Cambridgeshire every week (up the M11 and A10), getting as far as outskirts of Ely,Wisbech and March before branching off to Norfolk.

yes, along with one in Windsor which went before it was advertised (to a 2nd year student), to one in Winchester, one in Nottingham, one in Chester, one in North West London, and a 2nd year one in Ashford,Kent (cheating a bit but they might not get a 2nd year apply).
Interview next week in the London one (not sure where I'd live if I got it) but nothing else around.
