iv got an addict as a brother, he has stolen from me and my mum and brought trouble to the house etc and my mum has paid him out of trouble LOTS of times leaving her with hardly anything.

Yet he is an ungrateful B*****d, who thinks the worl owes him a living

Every time we meet we argue, he thinks coz iv got job and car etc im loaded.......erm no im on nurses wages with bills! He has to pay practically nothing coz he gets all sorts of benifits.

It makes me angry too that he doesnt appreciate my mum or everything she has done for him!

Thanks for the replies guys, it felt good to rant! My parents are now starting to get a bit hacked off with it. They've said to both myself and my other sister that the money will be taken out her inheritance, they'll put it in their will. We told them it's not about the money, we don't want it! It's the fact she's capable to paying some back each month yet doesn't bother. She actually said she doesn't want to know how much it is she owes them because she knows it's a lot. Luckily my dad has kept a record of it!

I never thought she'd be a selfish person but i've now realised otherwise. When my nan was in hospital she was on holiday. My nans condition deteriorated to the point of we didn't know if she was going to survive the night. So we phoned my sister who was a few hours drive away. She came back from holiday and arrived in the early hours of the morning. My nan improved and kept on going for another few days. My sister said her holiday had been ruined, how she only had one holiday a year to myself and my other sister. I could not believe it had come out of her mouth. Who gives a flying **** about her holiday when our nan was dying?! Since then i've seen her in a different light.

I've convinced myself I'm adopted as I'm so unlike my two sisters

Every year they get nice birthday presents and christmas presents from me, this year I got nothing, not even a text to say happy birthday. So guess what they are getting this year........a big fat nothing!!
They also have both spent over a year on jobseekers allowance, not because they can't get a job, but because they can't be bothered! And all they do is moan about how skint they are! It really frustrates me,I have worked full time since I left school and would take any job rather than sit around at hoem on my bottom.

I try not to get too involved in family things these days as it just leaves me feeling frustrated and angry. I understand your feelings but please don't waste any of your time worrying about it as from experience you can't change people like that.

You are obviously a lot different thinking than your sister, Vicky.

I do empathise with you though, I only have one sister, she also is a very selfish little madam, being the youngest in the house, she was always spoiled.

A real nasty little bitch now though - but I saw through her a long time ago and knew what she was really like.

Its only now that my parents are seeing through her, even though I told them years ago. I guess sometimes, they have to see for themselves, what you are seeing now in your own sister.

No amount of talking to your parents about her will help - they have to see for themselves.

I understand your frustation though - I have been there and its not nice.
