I guess it depends why you was sacked - if you got sacked for a misdemeanor or misconduct then that will be a problem to a new employer......

You are still legally employable until 11 weeks but you must inform any potential employers that you are pregnant at the job interview. They cannot discriminate against you because you are pregnant. Discrimination would be very difficult to prove unless you were the only person going for a job and still didn't get it!

However if there were 2 people with same qualification going for a job - one pregnant, one not - which one do you think would get it?? Employers are probably less willing to take someone on when they know they in 4 months times they will have to be apying maternity pay and still be one person down.
