ST perfect that sums up my feeling on football. If any other game just to the spectators had caused as much death, wounding to people and damage to property and cost so much for policing then it would have been banned.

ENGLAND FANS BEGIN SEARCH FOR PLACES TO FIGHT AND URINATE

ENGLISH football fans were scouring South African guide books last night as the search began for the best places to fight and piss.

England's emphatic 5-1 victory over Croatia maintained the team's 100% qualification record, with pundits predicting the country may finally have a squad that could keep its fans fighting and pissing all the way to the final.

Yes I am a Dark Blue!!! Got a season ticket and most of the time I love it, but not yesterday!! Thank god I didn't go as was working! We had our keeper sent off though and QOS got a penalty - still no excuse!! Haha, Gary Harkins is a legend! He's my friend on Facebook - it makes me laugh!!

Nowadays I TRY NOT TO WATCH FOOTBALL. But when I first met me hubbie, he was a great brentford fan. As was his father and grandfather before him. In the spirit of the game i had a season ticket and went to every home game, learnt all the players names and also had to put up with a extremly grumpy bf when they lost'

i dont mind wating some of the big clubs (he a liverpool supporter), so watched today manchester derby, chelsea/spurs and now liverpool/west ham but getting bored of whole day of it. hee hee.

if no big clubs on he watches reserves (ok can cope with this)

if not then the masters (slow!!)

if not the womens (not bad but not fast and exciting)

if not some sort of african cup or something (not called this but know its not this country) haha

I don't mind football these days but hated it as a kid. My dad would make us watch every game that was on, not just the team he supported, I never understood that.
These days my OH is a die hard Man U fan as are all his brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews etc. It tends to become a bit of a gathering when they are playing so I qiute like it. Also don't mind having to sit in the pub on a saturday afternoon!!
Have been to old trafford or a couple of matches and really enjoyed it, its such an amazing atmosphere that you just get dragged into it.

Big weekend for man u with the manchester derby tomorrow, should be good fun out in the pub with all the rowdiness

Firhill!! I have had some good away days there! For some reason the Stewards always laugh at me......mmmm!! Dundee are away to Queen of The South today so don't think I will make it to Dumfries in an hour (finish work at 2) would have to drive at approx 250 miles per hour - don't think the yaris would make it!!!

Excuse et moi!! I thought I was giving my opinion!?! and that is my opinion, sorry if it does not sit well with the football fans.And its not stereotyping either, I read about a survey that was done, and after football defeats their is a rise in calls to the police for domestics and in particular "WIFE BEATING". Too much testosterone you see Oh yes and I would reckon about 80% of any given football crowd was probably not as fit as they could be.

Rugby well ~I can just about cope with that, and I am not upper class
