Telford in Edinburgh do block release and possibly Barony in Dumfries although I might be wrong about that one!

I totally agree. I have some fantastic friends my college and I don't think we'd have been as close had we done day release. I LOVED block release, wish I could go and do it all over again!!!

I did block release at Myerscough years ago. I thought I'd hate it too but it meant I could get organised with studying. Yes, I spent the two weeks practically eating and sleeping Vet Nursing but I preferred it to worrying about what shift I was on, who was doing nights and on call. I recommend it.

I do block release at Thurso, I thought I would hate it, but I actually quite like it, it means I have no distractions so I can concentrate on what I have been taught that day x

I think i'd find block release too much to take in, doing it once a week gives me time to digest what i've learnt!

I did mine many many many moons ago by block release. It was good as some of the tutors run extra classes in the evening for students struggling in certain subjects.

You was able to concentrate without thinking what shift you was on the next day etc.

Would definately say block is better.

Myerscough do block and day release

I did block and found it really helpful to be away from the distractions of work/home etc. I also found it helpful to do the work in blocks rather than bits on a day release.

Just me personally but I loved block release and would recommend it to anyone
