We have a steam cleaner which is quiet easy to use and runs on distilled water no detergent needed not sure who its made by or cost but will have a look when in work on monday and let you know. If its seriously ingrained it needs a few going overs but after that it takes no longer than just mopping the floor.

We've got a Rotowash and the same floor as you've described. The Rotowash cost us about £2500, but you can get it on finance if needed. ( this is for one of the smaller Rotowash you can get bigger and more expensive ones) However, we've found that if the floor is ingrained already, the Rotowash doesn't do much good - we're trying a cleaner with the Rotowash called Ultraguard - let you know how I get on.

have used rotawashes in two practices, hated it in the 1st practice but loved it in the second as it was purpose built and every thing was easily movable so ended up with nice square rooms to rotawash.

dont really like mops as they just tend to move dirt around the place! but unfortunatly it's a necessary evil.

the deck brush things look good to get stains out, havent tried those before, bet they do save you knees and back! might ask my current practice to get one!

I prefer a mop and bucket and for those stuburn stains on my hands and knees with a scrubbin brush and some elbow grease!!!

Not sure on cost as you get different sizes etc. Here is the website though which explains about the different washers and I think they can also come out and do a demo too - http://www.rotowash.com

Invest in a Rotowash?! They're quite bulky and big so need a decent place to store, but I've found they were great for grainy flooring. Saves scrubbing on your hands and knees for sure!
