My Niamh does it. Has done since a kitten. When she younger used to have to hide any lose wires and stuff cos she would quite happily chew through one while we out! We bought a a big roll of string and let her chew that seem to have done the trick! She never eats it so not worried about forgien bodies and she saw the vet who couldn't see any dental reason for her doing it! Strange but shes really happy as she does it

I wish it was a dental problem - at least then I could account for it and do something about it. His mouth is fine was checked by a vet the other night.

I have a cat that does htis. he did have dental prob but they all got sorted out and he has after 4 months of dental started chewing again. likes yours anything he can chew he will.

I would love to know if any one had any ideas as to why.
