spiders are useful as are many that are screamed about, you wouldn't have half the plants without bees and the other flying insects all contribute some way. It is things like clouds of gnats or mossies or flys that l hate but not scared of them. And yes l know even they have a function .... they give a target to hate

OMG forgot about these!! spiders that fly arhhhhh! thank god i'm leaving the country soon and wont be back untill they'r all gone, just not looking forward to the spiders i'm going to encounter!

oddly i dont mind wasps or bees, and they'r the ones that hurt!! Bees are cool, need more of them imo

HATE MOTHS! but daddy long legs are worse Im panicing slightly that it is now daddy long leg month..... urrgghh hate them! can cope with wasps aslong as they are not around my head.

It's odd, i'm not so bad with butterflies as i am with moths. I suppose it's the fact that moths are in the house so keep flying into you rather than butterflies that mind their own business.

I hate the thought of killing anything, no matter how much i don't like it! I made my boss remove a spider from the building the other day, but told him he had to do it gently so he didn't hurt it!

omg noo jst the thought of facing it makes me want to hide!!! I am ok sometimes but omg i just freak out most of the time!!! Oh and when they buzz past my ears ah!!! I need to stop thinking about it now!!

The only problem is i also work in tropical jungles! not good when you hate the above. when in Bolivia there was this moth that layed eggs on your cloths and larve grew in your skin, well as you can tell not very good around moths in this country, but used to act like a right twat when faced with them over there!

OMG am not alone then woo! I went to butterfly once, petrified! I actually cried!

I am useless around anything creepy crawly that flies! I run away from flies ffs! It all started with the bee sting in Morrisons when I was 14, ever since then i have this stupid fear of flying insects! They are disgusting! YUCK!! I don't mind people mocking me about it but when they say am over reacting, that pisses me of, its a genuine fear grr!!! I really can'thelp it! Glad summers over for the fact there is no more flying things for a while!!

Had a poor lost wasp intoday. First we knew in ops was a crash as a mug hit the floor and 2 nurses exited the prep screaming.... FFS.

I told someone to take over my op got a broom and tried to trap him in the brisles to get him out. I let the others know their comments on kill it were not welcome nor coming to fruition. I finally got a hills mug over it on the wall, slid some paper over the top and took him out.

Weekend before last l did get miffed at the wasps in the camper, ever time l thought l had one out another would appear, in 2 x30 min time spans l decamped 17 wasps. All were safely removed to fly off and l wasn't stung.

i hate all flying insects... yuck... flys, butterfly,moths, bees and wasps are all horrid little creatures who i hate and they know it so they find me! I really hate insects tho!!

If i were you Sal i'd live in darkness to stop the moths coming in! I hate it when you find a dead one and try to pick it up (with a tissue, i can't touch them urgh *shudder*) and they disintegrate Too creepy for words.

On that note i'm going to bed so the lights can go off and my room will be moth free!

just be grateful you dont have a moth hunting cat - that always knocks the table lamp over which usually blows the bulb , which in turn trips the circuit breaker and plunges us into darkness. You have to curse and swear and fall over him trying to get in the cupboard so you can put the lights back on - you miss whatever you were watching on the telly - usually just as it gets to a good bit. You get fed up and go to bed - and then you find the remains of a dead moth lovingly laid on your pillow (or if you dont see it in time stuck to the side of your face) .

Thankfully the fatman is asleep at the moment and hasnt noticed the bloody great moth fluttering around the table lamp right now!
