Quite frankly l would make it earlier a lot earlier and ring back later on and again just as you figure he may drop off to sleep.

you guessed it! - B will be getting the early morning call tomorrow (I thought 4.45am would be a good time? but could make it earlier ) which I think is a very small price to pay for me being awake most of the night! - dont think jas will forgive him in a hurry either

when I told him today he denied doing it on purpose but 'maybe it just 'slipped' down the back of the radiator when he was playing with jas'

well it was a good evening - but have been up with Jasper who appears to have been trying to get the radiator off the wall all night and yowling! - one of my friends thought it was a good idea to hide his valerian teabag (we use them instead of catnip mice) behind the radiator - it wasnt a good idea, we havnt slept all night (and neither will my friend who is due an early morning wake up call tomorrow )

seems to have gone well wasnt actually what the were expecting but absolutely nothing left!

my take on the cottage pie was braising steak done in ale with about a pound of wild mushrooms (cooked for about 3 hours on a very low heat) topped with mashed potato which in turn was topped with some par boiled sliced potatoes, given a dusting of grated very mature cheddar and just finished off under the grill so the top was all golden and crispy with the mash underneath. Everybody had seconds and one person has taken what was left home with him.

Somebody was too full for the sweet course (dont know how that could have happened ) so has taken home what was left of the banofee pie (which I was hoping would be left for me tomorrow!)
