I'll let you know for sure no worries. The resterilisation date thing has confused me but I believe the point you are looking at is "label package with date of autoclaving or date for reautoclaving" If so, this just means one or the other. All you have to do is write it in the appropriate place on the bag if it has specific places printed on it.

If you want some help revising PM me perhaps we can go over some stuff together

Re: PRACTICALS AGAIN!

Yes this is one of the new tasks.
When you go into the sign in area sit down and imagine a big bubble around you whatever colour you like then push it out to surround the building. If you like swirly pastel colours think of that, if you like solid then make it that, if you like shiny or matt again add that in. Something that you like, you could add pictures in but that can get complicated and confuse the mind simple colours are best.

It helps the mind to relax and shift it from all that panic that builds up if you include the building it covers all the rooms you have not seen.. no need to worry about what is in each one. Your confidence bubble is already there in and around the room.

You knowledge is already inside you but your panic can act as a block. In thinking about the bubble panic is pushed to one side.

Re: PRACTICALS AGAIN!

thanks alot to everyone. the support means alot. xxx

Re: PRACTICALS AGAIN!

yes good luck to everyone taking them, rainbow, let me know how you get on and what tasks you get!
It's good advice to ask someone you wouldn't normally work with to help you.
I am resitting mine on the 18th so I feel your pain! I'm practicing like crazy also and reading through the task sheets frequently. I keep copies near key areas (lab, xray etc) so that I can be sure to follow steps every time I carry out a procedure.

Please be wary of this, as an examiner I see students who have done this. They often recite the sheets word for word, but still fail to carry out the steps correctly. And in one case not at all i.e. she stood for 6 minutes telling me she would do this, and do that, and never actually did anything. Also the tasks can and are changed slightly from time to time.

I know it's easy to say, but please try not to be nervous. The examiners are not there to fail you. Most of what you are expected to do will be things you are doing on a regular basis in your practice.

Your previous mark sheets should give you some idea where you have had trouble before.

Re: PRACTICALS AGAIN!

Good luck!!!!
