Hi everyone,

Yes, if you have a conversation and attach anything, the system puts the attachments in your folder in your 'uploaded files', which can be accessed by other members viewing your profile. The message itself is NOT accessible by anyone other than you and the person you sent the message to.

I'll see whether we can hide attachments. Meantime, don't attach anything which you want kept private.

Sal, as to the thing about your comments being passed around another vet website, could you tell me which one. Reprinting content from this site elsewhere is a breach of copyright.

and another warning

yesterday I was contacted by a vet friend who has informed me that some of my comments on the 'VNs on call in hospitals' thread and another later thread are now being passed around another of the vet websites. Should I feel flattered? - because right now I dont, I am actually bloody angry - I havnt said anything that I wont stand by - however I really dont think it is fair that vets have access to this site, are passing comment (and judgement) on subjects discussed here whilst we have no idea what is going on over the other side. I am not a militant, I am not out to cause trouble (lets face facts - if this stuff wasnt going on people wouldnt be posting it - and it isnt only me!) Seriously not happy about this!!

Maybe the vet(s) concerned would like to talk to me directly? - I dont have a problem with that!

Many ways to get in but here is 2 one is via the drop down up top

Another is off the home page

Also did not take screen print but go into your profile and it is on the right hand side usually scroll down to it.

In your profile on the right there is a section called files. Go into that files heading and If you have a file headed attachments it is all the attachments you have sent.
