Hi Sal,

Don't dismiss the dating sites - I met my husband via one 5 years ago, we got married 2 years ago, and now have a little boy! I was in Kent at the time, and he lived in Essex....I moved to Essex as I could change job easier.

I have to say I was very happy on my own before I met him, but got to the point where I'd had enough of spending special occasions alone! You do have to filter through the 'matches' more than a bit (there are some very very strange characters out there!!!) but it can work!!

well one of my friends from here has decided I have been single too long and decided to enroll me on one of those dating sites as a birthday present. Having got over the initial shock (and it was a shock ) I think they may have a point well sort of! Dont think anything will come of it - every match seems to be in Scotland!

It is great to know that there are always people here to talk to and that everyone is so supportive of everything it isnt just a site to talk about work its a site where we can share our lives with each other and its so nice to know that when any of us have any good news everyone here will be excited and happy with us! I feel very glad that I found this site and am so grateful to be part of it

I agree with everything everyone has said on here it is excellent and I have to say I am proud to be aquainted with each and every one of you lot! Yes some of you I have never met and may never meet but there is always the fact that there will always be someone here for you no matter what, come rain or shine!

aw well said everyone!! I didnt see my self 2 months ago finding this lil syt as addictive as i have. I was only using it to look for jobs! So far I have found a great bunch of people who bring me support and adivce when needed most. But also people who help brighten up a day with somethin stupid! A great site and a great bunch of friendly people Can't see myself ever leaving..EVER! So i guess ye thanks Arlo for the site and thanks everyone for being great!! woo!

i used to come on here a lot, then when it all changed, i did not sign back up for a long time. now i am back now i have started my nursing and i am so glad to have!the freidns and support on ehre is amaznig! well done to alL!
